No, GoBetweenStays is a platform that connects property owners and stayers, but we do not mediate between users. Once a property is listed and a stayer expresses interest, all communication, agreements, and arrangements are handled directly between the property owner and the stayer. GoBetweenStays is not responsible for any interactions or consequences arising from the interactions between users.

No, GoBetweenStays does not take any commission from the rent paid between property owners and stayers. Once the property is listed, all rent negotiations and payments are handled directly between the property owner/manager and the stayer. We provide a platform for connection but do not involve ourselves in the financial transactions between the two parties.

During our launch, there is no listing fee. The site is free to use. Eventually we may add a fee, which will help ensure that both rental listings and stayers are genuine and serious. It contributes to maintaining the quality and security of the platform, allowing us to provide a trusted environment where property owners and stayers can connect directly. This fee helps us protect both parties, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for everyone involved.

To add a listing, create an account on GoBetween Stays. Click on add a listing and follow the steps. Make sure to select the correct listing type – rental, property manager, or stayer. 

A ‘stayer’ is a person who rents a property for a short-term stay through GoBetweenStays. If you are looking to rent a fully furnished property, you would be considered a stayer on our platform.

GoBetween Stays relies on property owners to provide accurate and up-to-date information. While we strive to maintain a high standard of listings, it is important for stayers to review the details, ask questions, and confirm arrangements directly with the property owner before finalising any bookings. We may introduce verified ID once the site is well used and trusted by its users. We don’t want to scare people off by having to provide an ID when they first sign up to an unknown site!

While GoBetween Stays does not verify each listing personally, we encourage both stayers and property owners to communicate thoroughly before confirming any arrangements. Where possible visit the home, meet each other, or do video chats and video walk throughs of homes. Always ask for additional photos or details and ensure you’re clear on the rental terms before finalising the agreement.

As a stayer, you can search for properties based on your preferences—location, duration, and price. Once you find a property you’re interested in, you can contact the property owner directly through the platform to ask any questions and finalise your booking details.

You can message property owners directly through GoBetween Stays once you’ve found a listing that interests you. Initial communication, including inquiries, negotiations, and arrangements, can take place via our platform to ensure a smooth connection. If you choose to, you can share other contact details with each other to chat off the platform.

Property availability is listed on each property’s page, but we recommend contacting the property owner directly to confirm availability and discuss any special requirements. Availability can change quickly, so it’s always best to confirm directly with the owner.

All rental payments are handled directly between the stayer and the property owner. GoBetween Stays does not facilitate transactions, so it is essential for both parties to agree on payment terms, including the amount, payment method, and timing, before finalising the tenancy agreement.

Any changes or cancellations to your booking must be discussed and arranged directly with the property owner. GoBetween Stays does not handle cancellations, changes, or refunds. We encourage both property owners and stayers to establish clear terms before confirming a booking and signing a tenancy agreement.

Yes, GoBetween Stays has a review system where both stayers and property owners can leave feedback after their stay. This helps ensure transparency and helps others make informed decisions. Reviews are a great way to share your experience and help improve the community for everyone.
